Danyal’s background combines practical experience in accounting with years of exposure to traditional Islamic scholarship and a deep interest in Islamic finance and faith-based principles. This blend of professional skills and spiritual grounding inspired the founding of Barakah Advisory and Accountancy – a firm dedicated to aligning financial practise with Islamic values.
Senior Shariah Advisor with over 25 years’ experience in Islamic scholarship, jurisprudence, and advisory work across community and financial institutions.
Mufti Amjad serves as Principal Jurisconsult at Markaz al-Iftāʾ wa’l-Qaḍāʾ, where he provides scholarly guidance and issues legal opinions on matters relating to ethics, finance, and contemporary challenges facing Muslim communities. Alongside his scholarly work, he advises organisations on Shariah governance and ethical financial practice.
His depth of knowledge in Islamic jurisprudence and experience engaging modern industries provides Barakah Advisory & Accountancy with strong scholarly support when addressing complex financial and ethical matters.
